About the role
We’re looking for a Marketing & Social Media Assistant to join the Bento Box Design Studio team on a part time basis, with the opportunity to grow alongside the studio.
At Bento Box Design Studio, we’re a small, close-knit team that works across a mix of hospitality, lifestyle, and retail brands. We collaborate closely, share ideas openly, and support each other in delivering work that we’re genuinely proud of.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys working across different brands and wants to build their skills in a hands-on environment. You’ll be involved in content creation, campaign support, and helping maintain a strong and consistent presence across our clients’ channels.
You don’t need to know everything from day one. What matters most is your attitude. Someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, open to feedback, and willing to step in, learn, and grow with the team.

Please note: This position is for an immediate start and is based on-site in Perth, WA. This is not a remote role.
Responsibilities & Tasks
- Supporting the management of social media calendars and platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok for both the studio and our clients.
- Creating content across a range of formats, including short-form video, with opportunities to be involved both behind and in front of the camera.
- Assisting with planning, capturing and producing content that is engaging, relevant, and aligned with each brand.
- Writing clear, on-brand copy for social media, campaigns, and marketing materials.
- Monitoring and responding to comments and messages, helping maintain active and engaged online communities.
- Supporting day-to-day marketing admin to keep projects and timelines running smoothly.
- Collaborating with the design team to bring campaigns and content ideas to life.
- Assisting with the planning and rollout of email marketing campaigns.
- Supporting influencer outreach, coordination, and collaborations.
- Monitoring performance and contributing to improving content and campaign strategy over time.
Skills & Experience
Non-Negotiables:
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing/Communications/PR or related field
- Highly creative
- Great attention to detail
- Be efficient, organised and task orientated
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at once and work to deadlines
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different tone of voices
- Shortform video editing skills (Capcut or similar)
- Comfortable working on MacOS
Desirable:
- Proven demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experience with Mailchimp or similar EDM platform
